BREAKING: RCCG GO, Adeboye visits President Buhari in London

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Abuja House, London.
Buhari has been receiving medical attention in the British capital since May 7.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, posted two photographs taken during Adeboye’s visit on his Facebook page.
In one of the pictures, Buhari and his visitor were seated on a sofa while he was scanning through a book which is suspected to be from the religious leader.
A bag which appeared to have been used to take the book to the President was placed in between Buhari and Adeboye.

Rooney at risk as Mourinho’s Man United struggle
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho
is under pressure to drop Wayne Rooney, with the captain’s clanking
performances emblematic of the team’s struggles.
United have lost their last three
matches and there is clamour among supporters and journalists for Rooney
to be removed from the starting XI.
In an online poll by the United fanzine Red Issue, over 99 percent of respondents called for him to be axed.

Or should he be playing at all?” former England captain Alan Shearer
wrote in The Sun after United’s 3-1 defeat at Watford on Saturday.
Mikel prepares for life after Chelsea
John Obi Mikel has said he is making
plans for life after Chelsea as time ticks down on the final year of his
contract at Stamford Bridge.
Mikel, who has made more than 350
appearances in all competitions since joining Chelsea from Lyn Oslo in
June 2006, told Goal he will talk to interested clubs in January if he
is not offered an extension.
The Nigeria international is the club’s
longest-serving player behind John Terry and has won every major club
trophy at Stamford Bridge.
But he has only infrequently been a
regular starter at Chelsea, regaining a level of prominence under
interim manager Guus Hiddink last season before falling back down the
pecking order following the arrivals of new coach Antonio Conteand
N’Golo Kante.
Nobody knows why daddy committed suicide – Son

Opeyemi Waheed, the first son of a
52-year-old man, Bolaji Waheed, who reportedly drank poison in the
Ajegunle, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, says nobody in the family knows
why his father committed suicide.
The 18-year-old son told our
correspondent that the family members were still looking for explanation
why his father, who was an electrician, took the drastic decision.
It was reported on
Tuesday that residents of Salvation Avenue found Bolaji’s corpse at the
bank of the Itowolo River at about 1.30pm on Monday.
It was reported that Bolaji, who was declared missing on Saturday, was found with a bottle containing poison.
